Company Description

The design criterion of our factory is planed to conform to Japanese GMP and EU GMP as well as KGMP on purpose to export penicillin formulation to overseas markets such as Japan and Europe. The conceptual design that is supposed to be the design criterion of this factory was undertaken by Pharmaplan International GmbH in Germany in preparation for an on-the-spot survey of EU and FDA GMP that would be possibly conducted. U-Il Architecture Engineers designed the factory. Shinhan Gunyoung took on the construction, and Shinhan DM took on the plant and the equipment.After we set about establishing the conceptual design with Parmaplan at the end of 2000, the planning stage was done by Aug. 2001. Then, the construction began in Sep. of the year. The new factory was completed after the lapse of 14 months construction. That is a structure with two stories above ground and one beneath ground level which is built of steel-frame and reinforced concrete. The total site of the factory is around 10thousand pyung (1pyung = 3.594 square yards) and the total floor space is around 1,500 pyung. That is the largest one in Korea as the factory for the exclusive use of producing penicillin which is equipped with facilities for almost all types of formulation such as tablet, capsule, dried syrup, powdered injection, lyophilized injection, lyophilized ampoule, etc. Since penicillin is sensitive to temperature and humidity, we entirely control them in the factory so that we can produce penicillin products without any problem in quality and stability. We will establish productive facilities twice more than the first step as a second step. Kuhn-il already has exported penicillins and Cephalosporins to Japan from 2000 and this year(2003) we would concentrate on develop techniques and our export to Japan . Until 2005, We will try to achieve EU GMP Admission. We also accept other companys asking about production on commission.
