History and Profile:
The predecessor of our group is Arms Factory of Jiaodong Military Area, which started in machine tool accessories in 1953, and was renamed as Yantai Machine Tool Accessory Factory in 1956, and was then reformed as Yantai Universal Machine Tool Accessory Group Co., Ltd. in 1996. In 2003, our Group completed the reform of property right, and was altered into a holding private enterprise. Now our Group has two factories covering an area of 135,000sq.m. with a building area of 48,000sq.m. We have total assets of 180 million Yuan, and have more than 1200 employees (including more than 100 engineering technicians). Our Group has 5 branches, 2 subsidiaries and 7 general management departments. So far, our Group has been the development, production and export base of machine tool accessories.

Production capacity and product status:
Our company has comprehensive production capacity from roughcast manufacturing, machining, and assembling, to debugging. We have more than 500 sets of various manufacturing equipment and testing & debugging instruments. We attained the certification of ISO9001 Quality System in Nov. 2000 and ISO9001:2000 Quality System in 2003. Our main products are Universal (our brand) NC turret, NC diving head, NC rotary table, NC self-centering steady rest, mechanical rotary table, mechanical diving head, vertical milling head, and universal milling head, totally more than 100 varieties of machine tool accessories and special NC machine tools, with an annual capacity of 30,000 sets. At present, our group is one of the largest enterprises in China manufacturing all varieties and specifications of NC dividing machine tool accessories. With stable performance and reliable quality, our products are very popular. So far our products have taken big market share, and are exported to America and Europe, totally 13 countries and areas.

Since 1983, our six varieties and specifications of products have been awarded the titles of "State Silver Prize" (12 times) and "Provincial & Ministry Superior Products". In 1996, our products won the titles of "Yantai Famous-Brand Products" and "Shandong Famous-Brand Products". In March 2000, our products were praised as "National Famous Brand Products in Shandong by Shandong Economic and Trade Committee. In Oct. 2004, F11 series of dividing heads were entitled as "Shandong Famous-Brand Products". In 2006, "Universal" was entitled as "Shandong Famous Brand".

Technical level and industrial status:
Our Group has powerful technical and R&D strength, and is one of the R&D bases of home-made NC function parts. We act as an industrial representative to bear municipal, provincial, and national technical R&D project and technical breakthrough task. Yantai Machine Tool Accessory Institution directly under our Group is the unique research institute of state machine tool accessory industry in charge of the R&D, industrial standard establishment, and information distribution of whole industry. During the period of the 1st Five-Year Plan, our Group has been regarded as one of Top 18 Enterprises in State Machine Tool Industry. During the 9th Five-year Plan, our Group was entitled as "Top 20 Key Enterprises" and "100 Pilot Enterprises in Technical Progress" in reviving basic machinery and developing NC machine tool industry. Now, our group has become one of Ten State NC Function Part Bases honored by National Development and Reform Commission, and become the key enterprise in reviving equipment manufacture during the 11th Five-year Plan.
