For years, Wei Mon has devoted itself to the construction of environmentally-friendly public works project. When conducting our wastewater/sewer pipe engineering projects, we often discovered the destructive power that traditional plastic has on the environment, especially its power to cause blockages in sewage pipes and public flooding emergencies. In response,how to reduce the damage of traditional plastics to the environment became an important topic at Wei Mon Industry. In 1999, Wei Mon Industry set up its Biodegradable Materials Division (today's Environmental Materials Division). The main goals of this division are the development and research of completely biodegradable environmentally-friendly materials to replace traditional plastics which can not break down in the natural environment.Wei Mon has been pouring money into the development and research of environmentally-friendly materials since 1999, our 12th year of operations. In 2006, Wei Mon Industry successfully developed and produced PLA-coated paper. In 2008, we began mass production of our new PLA-coated paper and established our own brand - "Pland Paper" to provide eco-frienldy paper products to our environmentally conscious consumers .
