Visionary Lighting & Energy India (VLE) designs, develops and manufactures cost effective Renewable Energy (RE) based "Freedom" LED Lighting systems, primarily for the developing world."VLE Corp.", a For-Profit Social Enterprise Company, was established in Calgary, Canada in 2006 by Dave & Jenny Irvine-Halliday, the same team that conceived and founded the humanitarian organization, Light Up The World (LUTW) in 1997."VLE India", also a For-Profit Social Enterprise Company, was established in Hyderabad, India in 2009 and its reason for being was to design and manufacture more functional and cost effective RE based LED systems which would meet the needs of both LUTW and the developing world, well into the future.MISSION: As a âPeople before Profitâ company our primary goal is to bring the latest and most appropriate LED Lighting and Renewable Energy technologies to the developing world.VISION: To use Renewable Energy based LED Lighting to significantly improve the quality of lives of almost a third of humanity, by helping families escape the poverty trap by providing safe, healthy and affordable lighting services to the maximum number of homes, in the least time, and at the lowest possible cost.
