The Vincal Company was established in 1952 by Mr. Vincenzo Calvario. Since then it has continued to operate, growing slowly but constantly, changing only its structure and the head office. Today the ownership of the company belongs to Calvario family, Lorenzo, Alessandro, and Maria Grazia.Initially, the activity consisted of importing and distributing the surgical instruments from West Germany throughout Italy. As the years passed, the range of articles dealt with has significantly increased, both in specialised hospital services and in the more generic field of community equipment, finally arriving today with the marketing of thousands of different articles. However, the prevailing market trend remains medical/hospital equipment. Today the Vincal Company trades Italian and foreign articles. They import from all the principal European countries, Asia and the U.S.A. The internal market is directly han-dled by or through resellers in various zones. During the last ten years, Vincal has always been looking with growing interest at the foreign market and has established business relations in different countries.This has resulted in achieving excellent results even in the export sector, directed towards the Middle East, Easter Europe and Africa. The internal organisation makes use of a very close net of external collaborators and eight agents, that are always able to give quick response according to the various requests of the client. Thanks to the availability of warehouses and to the appropriate means of transport, Vincal is able to guarantee rapid delivery, and to move huge quantities of articles. Much has been done and is still being done to point Vincal's direction towards technological innovation and in particular paying attention to computer science and to telematics technologies. Vincal intention is to improve the organization and the efficiency of their work.
