UNIEXCO is a commodities trading and an investment company that specializes in strategic commodities trading and business development. We are engaged in the trading of key industrial commodities in Libya for our own account. As part of our work we identify and develop investment opportunities in critical industries that generally relate to our commodities trading activities.
We offer knowledgeable, reliable and effective access to the Middle Eastern and the African markets across many industries, including transportation, manufacturing, strategic commodities (metals and minerals), financial services, and real estate. We have particularly strong relations with the largest and most important Libyan companies such as (LISCO) and Mauritanian company SNIM, engaged in these industries and markets. The crux to the full range of our services and capabilities lies in our exceptionally deep and extended network of associates throughout Libya who have extensive experience and a thorough understanding of their respective industries.

COMMODITIES TRADING
We are engaged in supplying of raw materials, including iron ore for the metallurgy industries. Our partners include some of the largest ferrous and non-ferrous companies in Africa , Europe and China. Some of the companies with which we have strong affiliations in the steel industry include: SNIM, SINOSTEEL and LISCO.
We provide reliable sources of finished ferrous and non-ferrous products from various producers.
We offer efficient import channels for semi-finished and finished products to the ferrous and non-ferrous markets.
We work together with trading companies in the trade of crude oil and gasoline from the Middle East to the global market.

INVESTMENT ACTIVITIES
Together with our extensive network of associates we constantly monitor and assess the markets for profitable business opportunities. Through our own initiative we look for investment opportunities in strategic industries in manufacturing, extraction and exploitation of raw materials and transportation. We work with national companies to set up joint ventures with foreign counterparts either in Africa , Europe and Middle East or more increasingly China.
We invest our own capital and take an equity position in the venture. In other cases, we act more in an advisory capacity to bring in other parties to invest directly in the venture. Whether our role in a venture is assisting national companies to set up business cooperation with foreign counterparts or assuming a direct equity position, we participate actively with the board of directors and management to ensure the long-term success of the venture.
