It is appreciated for its uniform grey colouring and for its versatility in combination with other materials such as terracotta, marble and wood.The core product of Toscana Pietra, is the Pietra Medicea®, a sandstone, very appreciated for its fine, close, uniform grain and for its consistent grey/light blue colouring. It is perfect in building used by great numbers of people, due to its qualities of toughness and wear resistance.Pietra Medicea® is a trademark registered by Toscana Pietra, owner of the only quarry in the world where this kind of stone is extracted.
