Sunflower Handmade Leather is a family run business which is based in Shantou china, a city widely known for it's quality and craftsmanship. The Wu family began the business in the 1970s creating leather shoes & accessories using skills handed down from generation to generation. Skilled designers began perfecting the art of 3D leather design, custom coloring & hand tooling creating a wider variety of product through the years.

In 2002 the younger Wu generation moved to the United States and started a small wholesale business in San Francisco. Beginning the journey by selling at local Street Fairs, Festivals & Flea Markets, the business was successful and quickly expanded by moving to their current Corporate Headquarters in the Sacramento area in 2010.

Sunflower strives to maintain the highest standards of materials & workmanship and continues to be a leader in this unique field of leather accessories. Continued development of new categories has further established our signature style and distinctive identity. Our product offerings currently include unique accessories such as wristlets, coin purses, large purses, pouches, bracelets & much more. Discerning customers in the US and abroad continue toseek out our quality products.

As the younger Wu generation continues the heritage of fine leather goods we are in the process of transforming into an International business and look to expand distribution of our product to other countries.

Our Corporate Headquarters are currently located in the Sacramento, California area and we operate an e-commerce website in the United States. Our manufacturing continues to be based in Shantou, China
