In 1989, Sun Hak acquired the KS Mark for the electric mats and also was the first to export the frying pans to Africa and to the Middle East. In 1991, Sun Hak was the first in Korea to acquire the KS Mark for for the home cooking appliances (electric frying pans, electric pots, etc. ) , and obtained ISO 9001 in 2001. In August 1996, frying pans and stoves were approved by "GOST-R" of Russia, Sun Hak have been exporting electric frying pans to China since 1992.
