Company Description

In October 1990, an airplane crashed in China's Guangdong province taking the lives of Su Ho Chen, the founder of the Chang Chuen Cotton Paper Company and his wife.

For many years prior, Chen had dreamed of establishing a museum devoted to paper. His dream has come to fruition with the establishment of the Suho Memorial Paper Museum, the museum that he envisioned, dedicated in his memory. After five years of preparation, it was opened in October 1995 and continues to remain open till date.

Understanding that the vitality of a museum depends on its interaction with its visitors, we have created exhibitions and activities that encourage visitor's participation, all with the aim of fully realising the Museum's mission in educating people. By collecting and classifying Taiwanese paper artefacts systematically, we hope to make Suho Museum a paper museum that reflects the unique history and culture of Taiwan.

In 1999, the Chang Cheun Cotton Paper Foundation and the Suho Memorial Paper Museum merged to become the Suho Memorial Paper Culture Foundation. This merging has allowed us to propagate the Museum's message much more broadly around Taiwan.

In 2013, SUHO HAO SHENG HUO CO., LTD was established, with the core concept of the company being to "keep the beauty of paper always in our minds and in our lives ". This company was able to be created because of the long history and experience in paper making developed over the last 50 years along with the ability to convey the meaning of paper in our daily lives via the creation of the Suho Paper Museum, which was established almost 20 years ago.

Our made products not only include excellent quality paper, but also uniquely designed envelopes, notebooks, paper-made lampshades, leather paper bags, cardholders and document folders. One of our newest products is the protective acid-free paper. It contains high quality chemicals to provide protection from attacks, such as acid remaining in the assets wrapped within or supplied environment.

We are located in the centre of Taipei City allowing for the transportation of products to the main two export locations quickly in less than an hour. The experiences we have gained over the past 50 years have built our confidence in creating quality paper products. Customer satisfaction is and has always been our first priority and as such we have well-equipped facilities and thorough quality control measures throughout all stages of production. We have created a high quality series of products that we are looking forward to being discovered internationally.
