We, Sree Lakshmi Industrial Forge & Engineers Limited, Bangalore, India is an ISO 9002 Group of Companies engaged in manufacturing closed die forgings ( 0.2 to 60 Kgs.) and machined forgings. We have been in this industry for the last two decades.We are located in Bangalore,India and employ around 400 personnel in our forging and machining companies. The combined turnover of both the forging and machining companies was 27 million USD in year 2005 - 06.Our Customer Profile is as follows.We supply to Automobile /Automotive components, Earth Moving Equipment Manufacturing Industries, Hydraulic Cylinders / Equipments, Valve Manufacturers, Oil Field Equipment Manufactures etc.We are currently producing 1000 Tons of forgings every month and have a spare capacity of 450 Tons per month.Details of our manufacturing machinery are as follows.1600 Ton Press - 1 No., 1000 Ton Press - 1 No., 4 Tons Hammer - 1 No., 2.5 Tons Hammer - 1 No., 1.25 Tons Hammer - 2 Nos., 1 Ton Hammer - 1 No. & 3.5" Up-Setter - 1 No.We are adding another 1000 Ton Press, 2.5 Ton Hammer & 3 Ton Hammer by December 2006.Following are the supporting machines to the Forge Shop.1) In-house Tool & Die Room with conventional and CNC machines.2) State of art - HEAT TREATMENT PLANT, where we can perform heat treatment process like Normalizing, Annealing, ISO thermal annealing, Spherodise annealing and hardening and tempering.3) On the finishing area, we have crack detection machine and shot blasting machine.4) Our testing laboratory is equipped with Emission Spectrometer for Raw material checking. Also, chemical and metallurgical checks are carried out in our testing laboratory.Supporting our forging shop is our machining Company, KEMS Ltd. ( Karnataka Electrical & Mechanical System Limited ), wherein we make machined components and assemblies out of bar-stock and forgings. We have CNC turning centers, machining centers, conventional machines.
