The company has been only producing viscose filament yarn till 1970 and a new polyester filament yarn producion plant was built on akzo licence in senica after 1970.

Polyester filament yarn have a predominant position in a yarn production program of slovensky hodvab, j. S. C.

From 1993 is slovensky hodvab producer of pet preforms and from 2005 pet flakes too.
