WWII was followed by a period of great scarcity in Japan. We founded the company in 1950 to supply hard-to-find consumer goods and tools. As Japan's economy developed, we later shifted our focus to production machinery such as machine tools, measurement tools, and industrial robots.

In the 1970s we began exporting standing lathes to the United States, followed by Australia, Italy, Switzerland, and England. Today, our customers are also located in China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and throughout Asia.
