Its humble beginnings can be traced back in 1985 when it initially catered to selected industries in the export sector, distributing unsaturated polyester resin and fiberglass. Capitalizing on the vast opportunities of cebu's booming economy and growing export market, the company gradually diversified its product lines and added specialized power tools and abrasive products.

Its phenomenal growth in this field enabled the company to expand its geographical coverage by establishing a branch in the capital city that will meet the requirements of the large manila and luzon markets. This took place in 1997. The manila outlet was then based in a modest location in cubao, quezon city. After two(2) years of operations, an aggressive expansion program then ensued that was highlighted by olympus manila's relocation from cubao, to a better and more spacious office and warehouse space in the heart of one of manila's commercial hub, the mandaluyong district.

Today, s. E. A. Olympus marketing, inc. Is setting its sight on davao city, a growth area, that would be its center of operations in the mindanao region.
