All "Valley Potato" Varieties have been bred by Prof. Hak-Tae Lim's potato breeding team, consisting of research scientists at kangwon National University (www.potatokorea.com) and KPGR (Center for the Korea Potato Genetic Resources; www.potaodbank.com), growers at different "Valley Potato Farm's" in Korea, and scientists at "Potato Valley LTD" (www.potatovalley.com), the only private potato breeding company in Korea.Now we have several potato field trials in different countries such as China, North Korea, etc. Potato valley Co., Ltd. was born for the potato and people for all of us. Our breeding focus is mainly for the development of processing and table potato varieties that are well-adapted for the climate conditions in Asia Pacific countries. Theirs are 15 valley potato varieties developed, and they have been sold at the TV home shopping, golf shops, department stores, and over 300 shopping malls in Korea. Valley potato varieties have well-known for their high value as well-being potatoes since they have nutrient contents, low calories, and high anti-oxidant compounds in many different colors in potato skin and fresh.
