Founded in 1967, Onken is a high-volume manufacturer with integrated production and processing, focused primarily on magnetic and optical media duplication and custom-pressing. We handle these media until they are printed or converted to memory media.
Onken's aim is not merely to manufacture media, but to deliver it in a way that will serve to popularize the content produced through the passionate work of our customers. That is why we have established strict inspection standards to ensure that our media can be played back and read with as little influence as possible from devices and environments. We boast one of the highest levels of quality inside or outside of Japan. Our quality guarantee is attached to every one of our products, a symbol of commitment to quality.
We currently have operations in Tokyo, Saitama, and Tochigi. We have over 400 customers, mainly hardware manufacturers and software vendors both inside and outside Japan. Many of them order a whole series of products and services from us, from the manufacture of media as well as accompanying materials such as presentation boxes and manuals, to assembly work, product and materials storage, and shipping, including delivery to the end-user.
