One To Ten Toy proudly announces the birth of a New Era in children's educational toys. One To Ten Toy is a creator and producer of educational toys based on educational theory. The goal of our toys is to allow the child's mind to absorb knowledge from playing our toys. After a 3-year incubation period designing and testing toys, One To Ten Toy launched full-scale production in 2004 because the response to our marketing tests have assured us of the business potential of our toys. Toys created by One To Ten Toy have been accepted by distributors, retailers, educators, parents and-most importantly-children.
We insist on starting the design process of each toy with educational theory. One To Ten Toy designers were trained at the Montessori Institute in Malaysia and all of our toys are based on Montessori Theory. However, our toys are not exclusively Montessori. We also consider the research and theories of Piaget, Vygotsky and Eleanor Duckworth, as well was the Reggio Emilia approach
When designing a new toy, One To Ten Toy first defines the Learning Objective, generates many ideas for toys that might teach that objective, and then makes prototypes to determine the most effective toy for that objective. Of all of the ideas, we add at least 20 new toy designs to our production line each year, only after distributors, retailers, educators and children have approved each one. A good toy must be interesting and fun, easy to use, and durable.
The character of our toys is appealing and uniform with a harmonized range of toys using primary and secondary colors. We also have a line of products under our registered trademark BigEye (those familiar with Piaget will remember that infants and toddlers focus on eyes before everything else in a room) . Every one of our toys contributes to a vibrant learning environment, whether at school or at home.
One To Ten Toy makes toys to aid both developmental and performance learning objectives. The developmental objectives include sensorial-motor and cognitive development. The performance objectives include math, reading, and practical life skills.
One To Ten Toy leads the buyer to a new experience. One To Ten Toy's market positioning can be compared to that of a great educational books publisher: we start with great toys as content, and vary the format for a variety of outlets. Our distributors and marketing staff present our products to retailers, educators and children. Our buyers are pre-schools suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, day-care centers, and-of course-moms and dads.
One To Ten Toy matches ingenuity with safety. All of our toys adhere to small parts safety standards, contain no toxic chemicals or paint, and are physically safe (no sharp parts) . One To Ten Toy products are certified to follow ASTM F963, BS EN 71 and ISA 8124 standards.
