National Adventure Foundation NAF is a recognised apex national body for Adventure Sports, that is promoting adventure sports in the entire country in all element i. E. Land, water and air and has been serving to the country since its birth in Nov 1979, 29 Years almost, through its 29 Chapters and hundreds of affiliated clubs and institutions, that are spread all over the country. The NAF was founded by Lt. Brig. Gyan Singh, former Principal of Himalayan Mountaineering Institute HMI Darjeeling, Nehru Institute of Mountaineering NIM Uttarkashi and was the Leader of first Indian Expedition to Mount Everest in 1960.
Consistently, NAF pursuing, its Aims and Objectives of increasing the adventure awareness and extending the exposure to adventure among the youth through its adventure and recreational programs.

To expose the youth to nature, hardships and hazards, thereby build their personality, Character, confidence and courage through Adventure Programs.
