The Company is fully committed to creating sustainable job opportunities for the local community and to provide them with the meaningful and rewarding employment.At a major macro level, the major advantage of creating a locally based factory is to boost the manufacturing sector of the Gauteng Province, and to achieve much needed technical skills transfer from the Malysian engineers, technicians, and financial managers to the local South African work force. Further, with the the view to produce export quality products condoms at competitive prices, the Project will, albeit in a small way, begin to contribute to the Gauteng's mining export merchandise.The Company aims to contribute towards the alleviation of local supply contraints and begin to address the rising condom demand both in the local South African and SADEC region markets. Further, as locally manufactured products are brand new fresh stock, they will offer consumers a longer shelf life. An added advantage over imported products is that they are not subject to the lengthy delivery lead times and subsequent delays currently being experienced by importers.Furthermore, an intergrated educational strategy directly related to the effective usage of condoms will be implemented to provide the community, and especially females, with sufficient knowledge to empower them to benefit in the welfare and of their sexual health.Education of the community has been shown to be pivotal in enhancing the protection of those who are sexually active from HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections. This will also alleviate unwanted pregnancies
