Founded in 1946, Mercury Luggage Mfg. Co. is a privately owned corporation headquartered in Jacksonville Florida. In 1998, Mercury purchased Seward Trunk Co. which began business in 1878 and grew to be the largest domestic manufacturer of trunks and luggage in the United States. This acquisition added two additional manufacturing plants & warehouses in Virginia and California. Our total domestic warehouse and manufacturing space exceeds 400, 000 square feet.Presently we employ over 200 people in the United States and operate our own trading office in Taiwan. We contract to overseas factories for which Mercury is the majority customer. Production is scheduled daily in Florida for these factories.Currently, Mercury Luggage has retail licensing agreements with Mossy Oak Brand Camo and the PGA Tour. Mercury has established itself as a premier supplier of high quality luggage, sport bags, custom trunks and cases, to major corporations, pro and college sports teams and top retail shops throughout the United States.CUSTOM IMPORTS - Our custom import program is made just for you, with low minimum quantities and reasonable lead times.QUALITY CONTROL - Our factories have been officially rated by the British Institute as one of the Outstanding Manufacturers of Bags, which are made of leather, PVC, nylon and cloth.
