Markrotek Marking Systems was established in 2004, a joint venture between Optimas Technologies Development Limited and Schmidheiny Family in Switzerland. Our major business focus is industrial marking systems and optics. Optimas Technologies Development Limited has been manufacturing industrial inkjet ink since 1995. In 2004 an R&D department was established in Cambridge to develop a printer project. In 2008 Makrotek co-operated with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technologies to further develop the inkjet printer project. The same year the Makrotek printer was launched into the international market. Markrotek has its own production plants as well as research and development centers in Europe and Asia. Makrotek provides leading-edge technology to the global packaging and manufacturing industry through its international sales network. Makrotek products and solutions offer our customers innovative solutions with outstanding added value.
