City Fan Company was formed in 1994 as a small manufacturing unit for electric fans. The company grew rapidly from its modest start because of the quality of its products. The company is one of the biggest ceiling Fan manufacturers in Bangladesh.
Mr. Md.Lal Miah, the Chairman who is a highly experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, brought in new technologies for fan manufacturing from developed countries and improved Milon Metal &Engineering Works products in a continuous process.
Automatic CNC Lathe Machines and Die Casting Machines were introduced in 2004. A modern Enamelled Super Wire Manufacturing Plant was installed in 2003 for the manufacturing of quality enamelled copper wire for own consumption as well as for the sale in the local market. Plastic Injection Molding Machines were installed in 2003 to manufacture own plastic parts for plastic fans like Exhaust Fans, Bracket Fans, and Table Fans.
The company participated in many trade delegations as well as exhibitions arranged by Export Promotion Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Bangladesh. City Fan Company was the first Bangladeshi company who use the latest technology machine like CNC Lethe Machine, Automatic Pressure Die Casting Machine. Milon Metal & Engineering Works, Fans became an instant success due to their quality and durability in the market where these were introduced
