Our unique mild micro climate--(where the fog rolls in when it gets too hot in the spring and summer)-- Salinas is recognized world wide for its diverse agriculture: artichokes, roman/lettuce, strawberries, and broccoli to name just a few. Salinas has been named "produce capitol of the world" Or as John Stienbeck would say, "The salad bowel of the world."
