Company Description

Khc has the following four main business items:

1. Metal working fluids (cutting oils, grinding oils, drawing oils, rolling oils, hydraulic oils, heat treatment oils, compressor oils, rust preventive oils, metal cleaners etc. ). We have more than 1,000 kinds of metal working fluids. Our business territory covers korea and other asian countries. Currently we are doing business with most of korean manufacturers, and have no.1 market share in korea.

2. Grease products
Khc is also one of the biggest grease manufacturers in korea. We are supplying our grease products directly to customers like hyundai motor, samsung electronics etc. Also, we are doing business with sk, lg caltex, s-oil on an oem basis. Attached is our grease product list for your perusal.

3. Tectyl rust-proofing coatings and oils
Khc has bought "tectyl business" in 2001 from valvoline usa. "tectyl" is a specialized brand of rust preventive oil and wax-coating materials, which has about 80 years history. Now, tectyl business territory is divided into three. (korea houghton controls asian market, valvoline europe europe & africa, and daubert chemical the usa market). Tectyl is a renowned global brand of rust preventive coatings. Tectyl rust preventive coating products are widely used for many industries, especially in automobile industries. Automotive tectyl rust preventive wax coating products are used for the protection of the underbody of the automobiles, cavity waxes, engine room protection coating wax etc. Tectyl rust proofing coating products are approved to many prestigious auto makers like benz, chrysler, ford, toyota, hyundai, kia, scania, man, nissan, volvo, volkswagen etc. We have also automotive aftermarket products for car repair shops and garages.

4. Engine oils
Khc is also doing engine oil business through one of its subsidiary companies, korea valvoline. Korea valvoline has a technical license agreement with valvoline usa and is manufacturing valvoline engine oils. Khc is selling valvoline engine oils to both korean domestic customers and asian overseas valvoline distributors like china, australia etc.
