Introduced to the industry when he joined a leading Taiwian music box company in the 1970s, Jack embraced the business with keen fascination and devoured every detail. In six years, he was ready for his own venture and opened his first privately-owned factory in Taiwan in the mid-1980s. In a short time, the company was producing music boxes for Disneyland, then for Warner Brothers Studio Stores/Disney Stores.After a period of exceptional growth, Jack opened a Hong Kong office and second factory in China in 1993. Five years later, JAKOS (HONK KONG) LTD. was manufacturing a new series of music boxes for Tokyo Disney and DisneySea. Rapid expansion continued, and soon Jakos was the direct supplier of music boxes for Euro Disney and Hong Kong Disneyland.Today, the company�� client list also includes Mattel Barbie, Sanrio, and major retailers Wal-Mart worldwide, Target, JC Penney, and many more. With an 80% market share, Jakos is now the premier maker of children�� music boxes in the world. Our China facility has now grown to 800 employees.
