The International Trade Development Centre was started in Montreal, Canada in 1994. Our primary mission is to provide support to small businesses worldwide. The late 1980s and early 1990s saw the emergence of global retail companies such as Walmart, Price Club etc.
These companies work in close collaboration with the factories and sell at low prices. As a result, most small family run retail outlets were driven out of business and the retail market today is dominated by a few large companies.
Same problem is being faced by small and medium factories, especially in developing countries. Our mission is to help small industries, both manufacturers and retailers, in succeed in international trade We help these companies to compete.
We buy products and sell them at to wholesalers and retailers in USA, Europe and Canada
