1.Perfumery, particularly Soaps & Detergents, Agarbatti Perfume, Perfumes & Attars etc.
2.Used in large quantities in perfumes & fragrance for Soaps & detergents
3.Manufacture high-temperature lubricants & surfactants
4.Heat-transfer medium resins for laminated electrical insulation; chemical intermediate for such reactions as Halogenations, Acylation, Alkylations
5.Employed as a processing aid in the production of polyesters; several poly bromine derivatives...are used as fire retardants
6.Used as chemical intermediate for producing fire retards for brominated plastics, polyester dye carrier, , process aid and general intermediate
7.Intermediate in producing DOWFAX surfactants
