The origins of Group Tatoma took place in the nineteenth century. At that time the activity was developed at the heart of a family business, and initially consisted of a forge shop.

Located in the center of the Monzon in Huesca, was especially known for his artwork on railings and trellises.

Already in the twentieth century, the company Melchor Torres SA (Metosa) focuses on the production of machines for industrial use, such as hydraulic presses or mechanized equipment, becoming a benchmark in the industry.
