While the expiration of this single cell is enough to completely hinder the performance of the entire pack, the remaining cells remain viable and can be reused in new applications.Entech Management has the capability to extract 18650 cells from defective battery packs. Once extracted each cell can be tested individually to determine which ones have reached their end of life and which ones have potential for a second life in a new product.Each cell undergoes a rigorous testing procedure in order to certify that it is satisfactory for reuse.
