Company Description

The company was founded by Mr. Rafael Elhadef in 1941 as an import-export firm. Until 1984 the company, mainly imported and distributed photographic paper and films as well as photographic equipment for studios to the Turkish market.
In 1984, with the participation of Dr. Davit Elhadef and Mr. Albert Elhadef, both engineers educated in the United States, the company decided to enter the hygienic disposables business industry. They designed and built their first baby diaper machine which was followed by a sanitary napkin machine shortly after.
The energetic character of the company resulted in the construction of a new machine almost every year. Currently, the company owns:
- > 1 insert type adult diaper machine
- > 2 adult diaper machines with adjustable tapes and barriers
- > 1 bed cover machine which can make 60x90 and 90x180cm disposable covers
- > 2 standard type sanitary napkin machines
- > 1 winged type sanitary napkin machine
- > 1 ultra thin individually wrapped sanitary napkin machine
- > 5 wet wipes machines
- > 3 textile machines to produce briefs for wearing insert type adult diapers
- > 1 absorbent dressing machine producing dressings individually packed and sterilized
All of the machines except the textile ones are designed and built in Istanbul, Turkey. Production is being controlled by the Ministry of Health.
In addition to the hygienic disposables, the company has decided to enter the food industry. The demands of the poultry slaughterhouses were satisfied and meat pad production began five years ago. Now the company owns 6 different type meat pad machines and is the sole producer in Turkey with production being under the control of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The company owns a 5000m2 building in Yenibosna, Istanbul very close to the Ataturk International airport and has a labor force of 65 people to carry out these different types of production.
All of our products are TSE (Turkish Standards Institute) , CE (European Community) , and ISO-9002 certified. Our meat pad products are also HACCP certified.
