Elektrix has been specialised into developing products, which simplifies prototyping of electrical equipment.IC circuits are today produced in many different packages, and most of them are surface mounted. The surface mounted components are difficult to use with an experimental board since they normally uses through hole components. To get around this problem Elektrix has designed adapters, which makes it possible to use surface mounted components directly on an experimental board. The usage is very easy: Solder the surface mounted component together with a suitable connector. Then the component can be used as a normal through hole component.
