In particular, EGCON has developed and supplied the "automatic voltage regulator (AVR) inbuilt under frequency protection and electronic flash excitation circuit." EGCON has adopted a micro-processor (M.C.U.) in ECU, so it automatically controls the prime mover engine and is smaller in size and also lighter in weight. EGCON has supplied the ATS panel to the Korea Broadcasting System (KBS) since May 1993.
