As the antimicrobial textile is directly related with human health,it is much more important.However ,not many serious studies are made in technical textiles in Turkey.There are no local patents in the Turkish Patent Institution.Doliche Tekstil has succeeded to produce antimicrobial socks as a result of its long studies in Turkey and has applied for the license of it.The company was founded with the help of ABIGEM and KOSGEBs special program to support the entrepreneurs.The socks manufactured sucks the humidity on feet thanks to the synthetic fibers of cotton and wool.By this way,the humidity which helps the reproduction of the microorganisms is removed.Besides the sock fibers and antimicrobial chemicals are linked each other by covalent links and this is also what stops the bacteria .As a result of several tests ,it was clearly seen that the door and allergy proplems were considerably reduced.In addition ,the fungus proplem was also prevented.Doliche continues its studies for other antimicrobial textile products(underwear,towel,etc)and antimicrobial dye.Founded in Gaziantep ,the company realized its antimicrobial project with consulting support of ABIGEM and financial support of KOSGEB ,ABIGEM determined the targets of the company for the following 5 years and 10 years .Moreover,the "antimicrobial dyeing plant for the production of antimicrobial textiles"project of the company was also supported by KOSGEB.
