The company has operated successfully for over twenty years by making quality its highest priority. Importing fine yarns, mostly cotton, from europe, asia, peru, egypt and the united states and constantly monitoring and upgrading to the latest advances in dyeing and finishing, delyla sets its standards. In addition, delyla's own design team is continually exploring and developing new fabric concepts that are shared with their customers to stimulate new market development for both companies.

Josephine de bono, delyla's owner, started in this business with her father, peter de bono, a pioneer, manufacturing fine cotton velour in north america. Josephine grew up with one of europe's most prestigious haute couture designer and dressmaker and works with some of canada's most talented, leading designers. She calls upon this expertise to direct delyla's aggressive design team. The end result is a line of high quality fabrics that are innovative, fashionable, easy to wear and cost effective.
