Continental Apparels Ltd was incorporated in 1984 and started production same year in the month of October. The production facility is located at 145 Monipuripara, Dhaka in a rented premise.

Over the years, the production capacity was increased to 2.50 million pieces per year by acquiring additional machines and increasing floor area to 25,000 sft.

The present capacity now stands at 3.50 million pieces of Men's Dress Shirts per year on 50,000 sft of floor space..

From inception it was realised that to achieve excellence in quality and production efficiency, specialisation on a particular item was essential. Men's dress shirt was chosen as the item to be manufactured. As a result, all buyers of quality dress shirts now regard Continental as one of the best and reliable sources in Bangladesh. High quality dress shirts, starting from basic-over-locked to full-make (twin-needle side-seam with single-needle armhole) are now produced regularly.
