Beijing NucMed Technology Ltd, found in June, 2011, registered at Tongzhou park, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, Beijing with paid-up capital of 63 million Hong Kong Dollars, dedicates to develop, manufacture, and provide high-end medical imaging equipments and related systems.NucMed is a high-tech company joinly established by Tsinghua University and Mr. Chao Kuang Piu, a reputable entrepreneur from Hong Kong. Up to present, NucMed has built up a R&D team with more than forty high caliber scientists and engineers from local and overseas, working on radiation detection and protection, mechanical and electrical automation, fast electronics, physics design for large medical diagnosis and therapy systems, advanced algorithm and software development for medical applications. The Company has also employed an experienced management team from Hong Kong and Singapore to oversee its manufacturing and operation. Leveraged by Tsinghua University's world-class research and experience in medical physics, NucMed has constantly made tremendous progress in both R&D and production. So far, several products enjoying prominent performance throughout the world have been successfully developed, including the radiation image locating system for nuclear safety, animal PET/SPECT/CT for pathologies and medicines study, and SPECT for human diagnosis.
