Our story began forty-one years ago with one man?s passion for art and design. He dreamed of creating greeting cards and stationery filled with inspiration. He wanted to incorporate art into daily lives of people and connect the world with special messages adorned with images, patterns and colors. Thanks to his limitless conviction and dedication, Barunson was founded in 1970 by ungChoon Park. Beautiful, stylish products immediately received an explosive response, and the company thrived.During the 1970s and 1980s, Barunson became a synonym for the greeting cards and stationery in Korea. With the rapid growth in size and revenue Barunson expanded its operation to Japan and Europe, and gained much recognition and success. Technological relationships and agency agreements were also established during this period with the world industry giants like Hallmark Cards, Sony Creative Production, and American Greetings.In the 1990s, Barunson reestablished its organization and operation to make a great leap into the global marketplace. With the second generation leadership, the first e-card business (www.barunson.com) was created in 1998, and the first retail website (www.barunsoncard.com) opened up in 2000.1970 : established Barunson Card Co.,Ltd1985 : selected No.1 Brand for Wedding invitation in Korea2001 : established Shanhai factory2010 : awarded the 12th KOREA DESIGN2011 : renamed company name to BHandIn 2001, a factory was established in Shanghai, China with 280 employees and cutting edge equipment, including six offset printing machines, silk screen printing machines, laser cutting machines, and facilities for embossing and engravingIn January of 2011, the name Barunson was changed to BHands in an attempt to create a truly global corporate identity to reach customers all over the world.Our biggest asset is the talent and dedication of our design studio.
