Started as a private joinery workshop in the North-East of Bulgaria in 1919, by the 1960s our company had grown into one of the major state-owned woodworking enterprises in the country, producing high-end bedroom and living-room furniture. Our products, although widely popular and highly demanded nationwide, were primarily exported to the former USSR where they enjoyed similar acceptance. Thus Avgusta Mebel soon became renowned as Bulgaria?s foremost furniture exporter.Avgusta Mebel is a furniture manufacturer specialized in veneered and solid wood case goods. We produce both retail and contract furniture, and we sell mainly in the UK, Ireland and France. We are seeking to establish new partnerships, increase our volume and expand to other countries.We have extensive experience in contract furniture, particularly hotel bedrooms but also offices, company headquarters, social homes and freight ships. The typical projects we are selected for are 3- to 5-star hotels located in Western Europe, but we are also competitive in budget projects where cost optimization and price engineering are crucial for winning tenders.On the retail side, we partner with leading brand names operating in several EU countries. We produce mainly children?s furniture, occasional home furniture, bedroom and dining room sets. Our partners include wholesalers, store chains and mail order companies.
