The founder and Chairman Mr. Tony Opatha was a former Sri Lankan national cricketer who represented Sri Lanka for over 12 Years as an All Rounder.

Tony Opatha was involved in Dutch Cricket for over 20 years, and has coached over 12 Clubs and been involved with over 25 national players as a Coach.

He represented Sri Lanka at Two World Cups in 1975 and 1979 in England, further in the Netherlands he was a Tour Manager for the Under -19 World Cup Team.

The Chairman of Aro International Travels has been Coached Cum Player in the English Leagues for a period of 5 Years, in the Irish League for One year and in South Africa for Two years and in Bangladesh One Year and in Holland for 23 years as a coach.
