Our company was founded by my father, Huseyin Akcin, in 1988. Our humble beginnings started with selling dried apricots and apricot kernels. However, my father retired in 2000, and, inevitably, my brothers and I took over the business. For twenty-seven years we have successfully penetrated the market. Furthermore, we purchase our products directly from our local farmers. Nonetheless, after twenty-seven years, we are now planning to engage in export business. Our factory is located in Malatya, Turkey and we are currently renovating our offices as well as our warehouse for re-establishing the business this year. Likewise, we have set up a high-end machine for cracking apricot kernels. We are also proud to say that we are a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Turkey, and Exporters' Union.
Meanwhile, setting up advanced machines for packaging we have the capacity to produce 1,000 tons per year. As mentioned earlier, we also do cracking kernels for dried apricots, so we have the capacity to produce 2,000 tons per year; in addition, we do the same process for mulberry, and we can produce 500 tons per year.
