Its founder Ayhan Akbay increased the number of his retail stores with the success that he attained in a short time in the men's ready-to-wear industry and he also opened the first wholesale sales store in Osmanbey, Istanbul, in 1992.

Having maintained its successful progress in the retail and wholesale men's ready-to-wear industry, Akbay Tekstil created the brand Buenza with its experience of 20 years and its second generation representatives in 2002.
