Airfilter Engineering (AFE) began manufacturing compressed air filters and elements in 1993. AFE is now an established maker of not only our own range of compressed air filters and elements but also a comprehensive range of compatible replacement elements for a variety of brand names, water separators and accessories to your filters. Purification of compressed air is necessary because the air we breathe carries contaminants such as particles, water, microbes, and chemical gases that enter compressors. At a compressed state these contaminants become concentrated and can damage your system. An additional effect of compressing air is aerosol and vapor concentration. Compressed air is normally saturated with oil and water. To combat this we have a wide range of solutions to include Coarse Filters, Coalescing Filters, Particulate Filters, High Temperature Filters, Carbon Filters and some special application filters.
