African Trade is an Egyptian shareholding company established since 2001 under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Economy and The Ministry of Finance.
African trade is one of the leading trading companies in the Egypt, Africa and the Middle East focusing on the trading needs of the COMESA (Common Market of Eastern and Southern Africa) countries.
Our mission is to offer a wide range of commodities and assist customers in procuring their essential imports from producing areas and delivers them to final destinations.
Through our safe business partners network we could overcome all the difficulties that faced our private and governmental clients by securing a safe trading zone, by using our experienced team of experts in supplying chain management, logistics, hedging, international trade transaction management, trade promotion and consultancy.
Our operation has covered around 15 countries in the developing and emerging markets.
As African Trade is an offspring of Orascom Group, founded in 1950 by Sawiris family and is one of the largest and most successful business groups in Egypt with more than 40. 000 employees and a yearly turnover exceeding three billion EGP, our company was initially established to export ORASCOM products to the world Markets, however, it has expanded its products basket to the following fields:
Food Commodities: Sugar, Rice, Wheat and yellow corn.
Livestock
Construction Products: Cement, Clinker, Scrab, Steel.
Fertilizers Products: UREA Egyptian manufactured
Petroleum Products: Bitumen 60 / 70
